Yin and Yoga Nidra Chakra Series
Join Anita in a curated Chakra Series. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues and involves a series of passive floor poses that are held for 3-5 minutes. Chakras or energy centers correspond to specific areas in the body and when in balance promote health and well being.
This series will be broken down into targeting each energy center in the body and will work to open and promote flexibility of ligaments. It will end with Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation which will encourage a deeper exploration of body, senses and mind allowing for a nervous system reset and deep relaxation.
The third workshop in this series draws awareness to the manipura, or “solar plexus chakra” which acts as the body’s energy powerhouse. It is located in the navel and is directly linked to the sense of self.
